How It Works
How It Works
VersaCut uses your drill’s rotation to drive a saw blade back and forth. Fit the attachment and a suitable blade according to the supplied instructions, secure your workpiece, and use the side handle for support as you cut.
Disconnect the drill’s power before fitting the attachment or changing blades. Wear eye protection and keep your hands clear of the blade.
Is It Right for My Project?
Is It Right for My Project?
VersaCut is for occasional DIY cutting with a compatible electric drill. Use the correct blade for wood, PVC or light metal, and stay within the attachment’s rated capacity.
It is an attachment, not a standalone saw. Compatibility depends on the drill chuck and attachment shaft—not the battery brand. For frequent demolition or heavy cutting, choose a dedicated saw.

A Small Cutting Job. Another Tool to Buy?
You’ve measured the pipe or marked the board. Now you need a saw for a job that might take just a few cuts. Buying another powered tool can feel like a lot for something you’ll only use occasionally.
SLS VersaCut gives the drill in your toolbox another job. Add the attachment and a suitable blade to tackle light cutting tasks around the house.
Same Drill. A Whole New Job.
VersaCut converts your drill’s spinning motion into the back-and-forth movement of a saw blade. Your drill supplies the power; the attachment does the converting.
Cut a piece of wood for a repair, shorten PVC for a project, or tackle a light metal cut with the appropriate blade. The side handle gives your second hand a place to support the attachment as you work.
More Possibilities in the Toolbox You Already Own
Add an Attachment—or Buy Another Powered Saw?
For occasional cuts, make more use of your existing drill. For frequent or demanding cutting, a dedicated saw is the better choice.

What’s Waiting on Your To-Do List?
- A small wood repair: trim a suitable board or offcut to size.
- A PVC project: shorten pipe to the length you need.
- A light metal job: use a suitable metal-cutting blade within the tool’s capacity.
- A weekend build: add a cutting option to the drill already on your workbench.
Match the blade to the material, clamp the workpiece securely and let the tool work without forcing it.
A Few Things Before Your First Cut
Will VersaCut work with my drill?
Will VersaCut work with my drill?
VersaCut connects through a compatible drill chuck. Fit depends on the chuck and attachment shaft, not simply the drill’s brand or battery voltage. If you’re unsure, send us your drill model before ordering so we can check the fit.
What materials can I cut?
What materials can I cut?
Wood, PVC and light metal with an appropriate compatible blade. Cutting capacity depends on the material, blade, drill and attachment. It is intended for occasional DIY jobs, rather than heavy demolition or thick structural metal.
Does it include a drill or need its own battery?
Does it include a drill or need its own battery?
A drill is not included. VersaCut is powered mechanically by your compatible drill, so the attachment does not need a separate battery or charger.
Can it replace a dedicated saw?
Can it replace a dedicated saw?
For occasional cuts, it offers another way to use a drill you already own. If you cut frequently, need demanding precision or do heavy demolition, a dedicated saw is the more suitable tool.
Can I use the same blade for every material?
Can I use the same blade for every material?
No. Use a compatible blade intended for the material you are cutting. Wood, PVC and metal can require different blade types. Disconnect the drill’s power before changing the blade and follow the supplied instructions.
